Since
December, 1998, Mr. Peeples has served as the U.S.
and North American representative of and is currently Executive Vice President
of O2Diesel, Inc. (formerly AAE Technologies, Inc.), developer of O2Diesel™,
the leading e-diesel technology, and additives that enhance the performance and
use of ethanol in conventional and reformulated gasoline (www.o2diesel.net).
Mr.
Peeples has been an active participant in the development
of the expanding U.S.
renewable fuels industry since 1983. As
a legal analyst, economist, journalist and consultant to the biofuels industries (and related additive manufacturers), Mr. Peeples has been instrumental in the drafting of federal
and state biofuels legislation, a material
contributor to the rulemaking process which necessarily follows such
legislation, and is an authority on the interpretation of laws and regulations
governing the commercialization of alternative and cleaner-burning fuels.
Mr.
Peeples helped fashion U.S. requirements for reformulated
gasoline (RFG), oxygenated fuels, clean diesel, and fuel additive
characteristics as mandated by the Clean Air Act Amendments of 1990 and the
alternative transportation fuels provisions of the Energy Policy Act of
1992. He has played and active role in
securing passage of energy legislation in the current session of the U.S.
Congress.
Mr.
Peeples holds a Juris
Doctor degree from Antioch School of Law (Washington,
DC), and received a Bachelor of
Arts degree (International Affairs & Economics) from the Florida State
University (Tallahassee, FL).
