DESCRIPTION(S):		PLEASE REFER TO THE FOLLOWING FOR DETAILED RULES OR INFORMATION:
a) Limits VOC emissions from plastic parts and products coatings by limiting VOC content of coatings to 340 grams per liter, between 490-540 grams per liter for flexible coatings, and between 420-800 grams per liter for specialty coatings, depending upon product. Limits VOC emissions from surface preparation to 50 grams per liter. Allows use of specified air pollution control equipment which captures VOC emissions associated with coatings, in lieu of use of low-VOC coatings and surface preparation, provided the use of such equipment does not exceed specified limits and achieves a control efficiency of at least 85%. b) Limits VOC emissions from coatings applied to glass, rubber, or plastic products to between 275-800 grams per liter depending upon product, and sets requirements for coating transfer efficiency. Allows use of specified air pollution control equipment which reduces VOC emissions by at least 90%. Applies to new, existing and modified sources.		South Coast AQMD Rule 1145
