CPUC Interim Decision GHG Regulatory Framework	The CPUC today adopted a report to develop comprehensive regulatory strategies to meet AB 32 greenhouse gas reduction goals. The Interim Opinion on Greenhouse Strategies, prepared jointly by the Energy Commission and CPUC. The Opinion makes recommendations to the California Air Resources Board (ARB) for a regulatory structure that includes a combination of market and program approaches to reduce greenhouse gas emissions in the electricity and natural gas sectors.	3/03/08
Our Changing Climate Assessing the Risks to California: A Summary Report from the California Climate Change Center	In 2003, the California Energy Commission's Public Interest Energy Research (PIER) program established the California Climate Change Center to conduct climate change research relevant to the state. This Center is a virtual organization with core research activities at Scripps Institution of Oceanography and the University of California, Berkeley, complemented by efforts at other research institutions. Priority research areas defined in PIER's five-year Climate Change Research Plan are: monitoring, analysis, and modeling of climate; analysis of options to reduce greenhouse gas emissions; assessment of physical impacts and of adaptation strategies; and analysis of the economic consequences of both climate change impacts as well as the efforts designed to reduce emissions.	6/01/06

Program Design Technical Presentation 2-29-08	The specific focus of this presentation is to address the questions of scope and point of regulation for a potential cap-and-trade emissions market. Scope refers to establishing which sectors’ emissions should be included under the emissions cap.
