South Coast AQMD releases new emissions modelMonday, February 7th, 2011

The South Coast AQMD has developed the California Emissions Estimator Model (CalEEMod) which is a statewide land use emissions computer model designed to provide a uniform platform for government agencies, land use planners, and environmental professionals to quantify potential criteria pollutant and greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions associated with both construction and operational from a variety of land use projects.  The model can be downloaded at http://www.caleemod.com/

The first training session will take place on Thursday, February 17, 2011 from 9:30 am to 12:00pm in the Auditorium located at the SCAQMD headquarters at 21865 Copley Drive, Diamond Bar, CA 91865.  For those unable to attend or want to view the training class at a later time, the webcast will be available at http://www.aqmd.gov/aqmd/webcast/webcast_calendar.htm. Training is free and reservations are not needed.
